Inspired by the elements
The Dutch Coast is a fascinating place! Art Photographer Marijke Dittmann lives right behind the dunes and she visits the Nothsea beach almost daily. Walking along the coast of the Dutch Region North-Holland is where she finds her inspiration. She considers herself fortunate to be able to roam de beaches with her Leica Q2 camera even under pandemic restrictions.
Marijke’s eye catches the total perspective of the balance between sand, sea and clouds. Every day a different view, with its own colors and atmosphere. This is a part of the coast where one can find peace and quiet. But this is also the region that houses famous artist villages like Bergen and Schoorl.
Rich coast areas of Holland
Marijke is also an enthousiast visitor of the Northern Islands, such as Terschelling and Vlieland. To her where land turns into sea, the interplay of the elements is always exciting!
